This two-story red brick building was built in 1919. This building originally served as the high school building. Before it was condemned, it was used as a middle school for several years. It was finally demolished in May 1984.
Today, Washington Public Schools offers grades Pre-Kindergarten to 12th grade. We have one elementary school, one middle school, and one high school with a total of 956 students. Our elementary serves Pre-K to 5thgrade with a total of 489 students. Our middle school covers 6th through 8thgrades with 196 students. The high school has grades 9th through 12thwith 271 students. We have 63 certified personnel and 37 support personnel on staff.
